The “Moonstone Mountain Ranch” is 162 acres of World Class Deer and Elk hunting without leaving the property. Located in Mule Deer Hunt Unit 48, which is an “open hunt”, no waiting for years to draw a tag. The Ranch is an inholding surrounded by BLM and State Lands and is a stones throw west of Rinker’s Rock Creek Ranch. Perfect location for a hunting lodge or camp. The 162 acres was originally a part of the famous Moonstone Ranch and located on the backside (north side) of Moonstone Mountain. The head waters of Poison Creek partially originate in a spring on the westerly boundary of the property and usually has enough water in late summer and Fall to supply hydration for deer, elk, moose, and every other animal that comes along in late summer and Fall. Poison Creek travels the length of the property in Spring and early Summer before reaching Magic Reservoir. Moonstone Mountain Ranch is located 5 miles northwest of State Hwy 20 on a rugged 4 WHEEL DRIVE ONLY unmaintained dirt and gravel road.
