Wakeboard, Waterski, Surf Lakes Near Boise
For many people, living close to a lake or reservoir is the epitome of summertime fun. Well, Boise does plenty to accommodate any and all water lovers with an abundance of lakes nearby. Below is a list of lakes/reservoirs and their driving time from downtown Boise. One Reason Former Boise State Coach Chris Peterson loved Boise So much was the Abundance of warm weather and the fact that Lucky Peak was just a short 15 minutes from his front door. On top of that you can get away from the crowds in less than 2 hours to high mountain lakes like Payette Lake in McCall and Redfish Lake. Combine the water sports with some crappie fishing at hot spots like CJ Strike or Brownlee Resivoirs. You need something to go with the cold beverages and crappie is about as good as it gets. #ILoveIdaho.

If you are a tow junky considering moving to Boise and a Boise real estate purchase is in your future. Strongly consider where you buy in order to maximize your time. It is way better to be towed than to be towing!
