Seattle, Portland Store's No More!
When You Move To Boise Traveling To Shop Is A Thing Of The Past!
With the recent addition of the Nordstrom's Rack, finding high quality stores and shops to spend your hard earned dough at is a thing of the past. In the last 10 years Boise has seen store openings that include big box stores like Cabela"s and Rei, The Rack and many more big box retailers carrying everything from camp kitchens to to of the line in home appliances. R.C Willey's, Hobby Lobby, Kohl's and Dick's to name just a few.
The downtown core has seen the last of the big box stores evaporate to the west but filling in behind them are all sorts of small specialty stores. An eclectic mix of galleries, boutiques and gift stores with a wide array of offerings and at least 201 different store fronts. From high end camping gear at The North Face to all things urban at The Urban Outfitters, or Fancy pants and Dragonfly for stylish clothing. For upscale cooking and kitchen try Williams-Sonoma on for size. If you are looking to whip it up like the big boys, The Standard Restaurant Supply on Fairview has everything from deep fat fryers to ramakins and glass wear, strainers for soup and tongs spatula's and bottles of all shapes and sizes. The prices are not half bed either! We bought pizza screens there that work great in a conventional home oven and make clean up a snap!
All in all shopping in Boise is great. Add in the internet and viola.....86 shopping trips to the coast!
