Riverside Village & The Woods At Riverside Village enjoy a riverside and pond front setting that is unparalleled in Boise. Combine the greenbelt access and walking paths with the nearby shopping and restaurants and it is a water lovers delight and a walkers dream. Join the club at nearby Plantation Country club, it is full service and family friendly. Maybe a bike ride down the green belt is more your style. At about 7 miles to downtown Boise is just a half hour away. The community has a pool to cool off in and the location is a quicky to either downtown Boise or an escape to the mountains on nearby highway 55.
Originally Built Out By Evans Brothers in the 1980' and 1990's, the meandering waterways and trees gave Riverside Village the feeling of being on vacation. All of the homes where heavy 1990's oak and wood shake roofs. Many of the roofs have been replace, much of the oak has not. A long and contentious debate between greenbelt users, the city and the hoa has kept in place a walking only portion of the greenbelt along riverside village. I am not sure why there is a negative perception about bike access, but be that as it may. No bikes.
At the far downstream end of Riverside Village is the exclusive area known as The Woods at Riverside Village. It is gated and has streams, ponds and the river. The lot sizes run up to an acre in The Woods. The Woods has a more upscale custom feel than the rest of Riverside Village.
