The only need to know is that you need to reserve ahead of time!

And as a side note you may have heard! Buy Boise real estate or sell Boise real estate from me and rafting is free! Hey if we can kill two birds with one stone, I am all for it. Erica and Mike would love to help find your new home and…

Boise on top again!

This time Number 5, according to the real estate website Zillow. They have declared Boise the number-five best housing market in the United States for 2016.

Boise ranks fifth, with Denver number one, Seattle number two, Dallas-Forth worth number three and Richmond , Virginia number four. Zillow looked at home value appreciation, low unemployment rates and income growth. They are predicting the most appreciation on the bench and in the north end. That said as a whole Boise appreciated almost 10 percent last year. With the low supply and the builders already building about as fast as they can, I would expect appreciation to out pace the 10 percent we saw last year in 2016.It is really hard to find a good home right now. They…

Boise Outdoors Close, Convenient, Quality!

Skiing 1 hour, check. Rafting 1 hour, check. Mountain biking/hiking 5 minutes, check. Water skiing 20 minutes, check. Camping 1 hour, check. The list goes on, from world class winter kite surfing to sturgeon and bass fishing.

It does not matter if you are a hunter, hiker or mountain biker. Rafter, soaker or big time loafer. It is all within a relatively short drive. For instance undeveloped camp sites along the South Fork of the Payette near Grandjean are to die for. You drive by 4 sections of whitewater from class II to class IV. Six or so hot springs, like world class skinny dipper to smaller river side pools like Kirkham hot spring. All surrounded by national forest for hiking, biking and hunting or…

Idaho is what America was!

Snowshoe or Hike To The Langer Lake Complex!

This is a sensational hike with relatively easy access, a long daytrip and perfect for a weekend back packing trip. There are 4 or 5 lakes with tons of great camp sites. The fishing is great with some of the lakes holding numerous 8-10 inch trout and others with some real lunkers. At least two of the lakes have fish in the 20 inch range. This shot was taken on memorial day weekend in a low snow year in about 2007. I thought we would be able to easily hike in but there ended up being 3 feet of snow most of the way. We were able to hike on top of it and made it but only found 2 small spots that were snow free for camping! Needless to say the fishing was not great that early,…

Ok here is the deal. Forest Fires are the ticket. The first spring after a fire has burned the mushrooms come up like there is no tomorrow. The conditions including moisture and soil temperature need to be just right and viola. I picked the three gallons in the picture in about one and a half hours. Once you find them they are usually thick. morel Idaho First put a little thought into the conditions, then do some forays into different terrain…

A few simply common sense ideas to help keep the surprises to a minimum.

Boise's real estate market is hot and depending on the price range you are looking in you may or may not be in a position to ask for any repairs included in your offer. That said, it is still great to look at these and factor in which may need attention so you do not over pay when you buy real estate in Boise or the surrounding areas.

Buying a home is a big deal for a first time buyer or a seasoned buyer.  It is not something that is an inexpensive purchase and not something that should be taken lightly.  It is recommended in all cases that a home inspection be performed when purchasing a home as there are items that are commonly found during a home inspection that just can't…
