Celebrate With Over 20 Idaho Wineries!
If you have recently experienced a move to Boise don't miss out on the annual barrel tastings and other Thanksgiving holiday events that are put on by the ever growing Idaho wine industry. Here are a few highlights and tips to get you headed in the right direction. There are now over 20 wineries in the greater Boise area holding some sort of tasting, pairing or food and wine extravaganza's.

Heaven sent to Oregon and Idaho bird hunters is the chance to spend an eternity in hell. Or heaven depending on your view point! Idaho started introducing chukars in the 1930's and hunters have reaped the benefit of many fine days in the field and at the dinner table. When accompanied by a great pointing dog the joy of filling the frying pan is extraordinary to say the least.

Boise State University welcomes alumni and friends alike back to the campus with warmth and style. Built entirely with private donations and corporate support, it is the new home of the Boise State University alumni relations department, but it is so much more. The project which was spearheaded by Dixie & Allen Dykman and built with the support of thousand's cost 14.5 million. You missed the Grand Opening at homecoming, but that was just the beginning. Normal hours are from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, stop by and check it out.
